I’m jealous of people who only feel like they’ve been born in the ‘wrong generation’. That can be solved almost by buying different clothes and listening to the music of that time. I feel like I’ve been born in the wrong world. It’s like I’m constantly homesick for somewhere I’ve never been, somewhere that I’ve never heard of, somewhere that doesn’t even exist. I can’t fill the holes in my life with objects and clothes and music because I don’t know what it is that I’m missing. It’s not even an unhappy feeling, don’t get me wrong. It’s just a constant feeling in the very back of my mind. Almost like the feeling you get when there’s a fly buzzing away at the oppsite end of the room. It’s not hurting me, it’s just an annoyance that I wish would go away but I can never get close enough to catch it and get rid of it. I can barely even explain it. I just feel really lost.
